I've been using for a few months the Yoga Studio app by Gaiam on my iPhone and I can honestly say that I love it. The design is clean, the interface is intuitive and the classes are intelligently sequenced with a teacher's voice that guides you easily into that yoga state. If you are looking for a yoga app to practice yoga at home, or on the go, then I can definitely recommend this app to you.

Yogoda Satsanga Math is the ashram founded in 1938 by Paramahansa Yogananda in Dakshniswar, Kolkata. It is the headquarters of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, the organization founded by Yoganandaji in 1917 to spread his teachings in India and in neighboring countries. I had the opportunity to visit guruji's ashram last March and although I didn't plan for it I was able to stay there for one night.

On Tuesday, March 15, just two days before leaving India, I decided to complete my pilgrimage following the steps of Paramahansa Yogananda in Kolkata by visiting guruji's house on 4 Garpar Road.
A few days before I had done a pilgrimage to visit the Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Yogoda Math, Belur Math and Sri Yukteswar's temple in Serampore. I wrote about that pilgrimage in my previous post.

Thursdays are a day off for the volunteers at the Missionaries of Charity in Kolkata, but instead of going to explore the city I decided to do a one day pilgrimage to follow the steps of Paramahansa Yogananda.
I wanted to visit all the places that Yoganandaji mentions in his autobiography like the Dakshineswar Temple, Yogoda Math, and Serampore. Serampore is where his guru Sri Yukteswar used to live while Yogananda was a college student.
